Morgan is the Female Youth Back to School Parade Marshal for 2012. She was born at 26 weeks and weighed only 2lbs. Due to her premature birth, Morgan had early blood oxygenation issues caused by respiratory weakness and serious digestion problems for the first year of her life. With the help of specialists coupled with the around the clock love and support of her parents, family and friends, Morgan has made a full recovery and is experiencing no visible signs of digestive or respiratory issues. She is a current student of Windermere Primary School in Pflugerville where she will be entering first grade this school year. Morgan is a vibrant 6 year old who loves dancing, singing, skating, swimming and most of all playing with her friends.
Today, she joins her parents, Greg and Shea Warren in supporting numerous events sponsored by March of Dimes. The family was nominated and served as the 2011 March of Dimes Austin Ambassador Family where they all help to raise awareness of prematurity and provide support to the families of preemies. The family also encouraged companies to donate and participate in the efforts of March of Dimes.
